NOxTO NitrateTM uses a patented photocatalytic technology developed by Crop Intellect, converting air pollution into fertiliser. Specifically, NOxTO NitrateTM captures atmospheric Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) and through photocatalysis using daylight, converts them into Nitrate (NO3) fertiliser.
The technology is embedded into a liquid formulation and sprayed (tank-mixable) onto plant leaves using standard farm spraying equipment.
The photo-catalyst in NOxTO NitrateTM is a specifically processed titanium dioxide with enhanced ability to produce Nitrate daily whilst remaining on plant leaves for several weeks. This makes it a valuable tool for farmers to reduce their reliance on synthetic Nitrogen fertilisers resulting in increased soil resilience and reduced carbon footprint, without compromising yield.
Moreover, NOxTo NitrateTM ’s proven ability to breakdown atmospheric N2O (which is 298 times more potent than CO2 as a greenhouse gas) provides the potential opportunity for farmers to monetise on meeting their net-zero emissions targets.
Extensive independent trials have demonstrated that NOxTO positively impacts crop yield or compensates for the reduced use of synthetic nitrogen fertilisers. Its practical simplicity and effectiveness make it a solution for widespread agricultural use across a variety of crops.
These benefits make NOxTO Nitrate a promising technology for farmers aiming to improve their crop productivity while also contributing to environmental sustainability.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Shake well (at least 1 minute) before transferring to the spray tank. Add NOxTO NitrateTM to the spray mix only after all compatible products and the total final water volume have been added to the tank.
Use 1 litre of NOxTO NitrateTM per hectare (unless specified below) with at least 130 litres of water. Any applications of trace elements must be adjusted (reduced) to account for product amounts
Cereals
Apply 1 litres per hectare at T1 & T2 stages, specifically during Growth Stages 31-33, 38-40 and optionally 45-47. If T2 timing is less than 14 days from T1 then apply 0.5 litres per hectare at T2, and a further 0.5 litres per hectare at T3.
Potatoes
Apply 0.5 litres per hectare at 80% ground cover and every 7-10 days thereafter up to a maximum of 4 applications or 2 litres total per hectare/crop.
Forage & Amenity Grass
Apply 1 litres per hectare after each mowing or every 4 weeks.
Vegetables
Apply 1 litres per hectare when plants have 4-5 true leaves and subsequently every 4-6 weeks.
Maize
Apply 1 litres per hectare at the 4-6 leaf stage and a further 1 litres per hectare 4 weeks later.
Peas
Apply 1 litres per hectare when plants reach the 4 node stage and a further 1 litres per hectare at flowering.
Other Crops
Use 1 litres per hectare mixed with a minimum of 200 litres of water and apply every 4 weeks.
